<div class="left-page">But the door was far too small. She couldn’t squeeze herself through. It looks just like the sea, doesn’t it? But it really is the Pool of Tears—[[all made of Alice’s tears->POT11]], you know!</div></div>

Well, the reason is, that Alice began talking about cats and dogs. <div class="left-page">When Alice and the Mouse had got out of the Pool of Tears, of course they were very wet: and so were a lot of other curious creatures. <div class="right-page">So, all these creatures, Alice and all, went on running round and round, till they were all quite dry again. <div class="left-page">''“Why, she, of course,”'' said the Dodo, pointing to Alice with one finger. Alice had nothing to give them but a few comfits she happened to have in her pocket.
