You make it through the hellbent wilderness of Shovad. You see a village. But you also see the path home. [[Village]] [[Home]]

The villagers are suspicious, wary. They ask who you are. [["I don't want any trouble"]] [["Who I am is my business, all right?"]]

You walk along the path. Footsteps. Slow footsteps. Faster. Faster. Faster. [[Run]] [[Continue at the same pace]]

They understand that you are in need of help and ask what services you require. [[I need a doctor]] [[I need resources]]

They see you as a foe and give you two options. [[Leave]] [[Die]]

You run as fast as you can and escape the wolves. [[Continue walking]] [[Stop and rest]]

As you think the wolves don't notice you, you are devoured, bone by bone. You are dead. [[Retry->Start]]

You spend too much time at the village that you die of hypothermia before you get a quarter of the way home. You are dead. [[Retry->Start]]

They strike you down with a single swift blow. You are dead. [[Retry->Start]]

You see a doctor. He sees that you are unwell and that you have severe wounds. He can treat you but that it may cost a lot. [[Pay]] [[Bribe]] [[Scam]]

They provide you with food and water and tell you to go on your way. [[Continue->Home]]

You continue walking. There aren't any more monsters, at least you think there's not. You don't see any sort of civilisation along the way. Hours of walking. [[Continue]]

You take a rest. But a wolf pack find you and ambushes you. [[Retry->Start]]

Your wounds are healed. You are given compounds to make a healing mixture. +NEW ABILITY - Heal - Now available in combat situations [[Continue Home->Home]]

You offer a large sum of money as a bribe for help. He accepts the "gift" and proceeds to help you. You do not know how trustworthy this doctor is though. +NEW ABILITY - Heal - Now available in combat situations [[Home->Home]]

You pretend that you have the money. The doctor doesn't notice your ruse. However once the healing is done, the doctor finds out that you don't have the money. He alerts the guards and the guards kill you. [[Retry->Start]]

You continue walking. Tired & hungry. After a few more hours, you make it to your house. But where is it? Burnt pieces of wood lie in a massive crumpled pile. [[Proceed]]
