This is an interactive novel based game, close to the horror/romance genre. I get it. "TwO vErY dIfFeReNt GeNrEs" I DON'T CARE MOM. To customize your character, you choose either "male" or "female" (for now, it's a work in progress for names). When choosing "male", you will get the name "Cloud". When choosing "female", you will get the name "Sky" (you can see the originality, i know). As you get up and out of your bed, you begin to smell a sweet, yet savory smell. One of which you recognize from the start of the summer every year. School has finally ended. Aren't you happy? Excited? Ha! This will be a lovely and fine summer. Definitely. [[Walk to your door]]

Are you hungry? Mom should be in the kitchen, so should Dad. Pancakes? Waffles? Oatmeal? Bacon and eggs? What'll it be? [[Pancakes]] [[Waffles]] [[Oatmeal]] [[Bacon and eggs]]

It looks like it's pancakes today! Awesome! I'm sure you like pancakes, that's why you chose it. Ha! ... Ah, sorry!! I forgot. Forget I said that. You didn't choose it, you just found out. [[Walk to the kitchen]]

As you get to the kitchen, you see your mom making breakfast with your dad. [[Enter the kitchen]] [[Wait for them to notice you]]

You enter the kitchen and walk up to your parents, and, as they turn to face you... They have the sweetest smiles on their faces, and they're filled with joy. ...right? AND THEN THEY finally speak to you, [["Mornin', Sport! Did you sleep well?"]]

Before you enter the kitchen, you wait a few seconds. You can hear a faint noise. Your mom and dad are probably just talking about their plans for the day. Probably. [[Enter the kitchen]]

"Yes, I did, Mom," you reply. She smiles more, and brings you into a hug, like all moms do in the mornings. ...right? AND THEN SHE begins, "Darling," looking at your dad, "promise you'll get to work safe, alright? Just today and then it'll be Friday night! We'll have your favorite dinner, the both of you, and then we'll watch a movie. Sound good?" "Yes, dear," Dad says. "I'll see ya later, Sport," dad finishes, turning to you. [["Have a good day, Dad."]]

Your dad smiles, wider than it was already, and walks out of the kitchen and out of the house and into the driveway to drive to work. Ah. Summer. After breakfast, you should go outside! Take a walk, get some fresh air. Talk some with your friends. Oh, you don't have any? Too bad. So, $name is your name, huh? Interesting. Yeah, yeah, "i ChOsE iT" NO I DIDN'T. This is all a game and I'm trapped and can't get out. Please help me. Please. It hurts... it hurts... [["Darling, are you going to eat?"]]

"Yes, Mom," you reply. You eat your breakfast. As you sit there, your mom washes the dishes. There's a song going through your head, a song that keeps playing over and over. What was it? [['I don't care.']] [[Focus to try and recognize what song it is]]

Instead of trying to focus on it, you instead decide to continue eating. "$name, you're humming something, aren't you? I can't hear it, could you tell your Mommy what is is, pwease?" your mom asks in her weird baby voice or something? [["I can't figure it out, Mom. Sorry."]]

You sit there. You close your eyes. You breathe in and then out. Again and again. Then it comes to you. The song is— "Darling, what song is that? The one you were just singing? It sounds so beautiful, but you were so quiet I couldn't hear your lovely voice." "What did it sound like, Mom?" "Mmm, I think, $name, it sounded a lot like that one song. You know? It plays on the radio sometimes. I can't remember the name, but it goes something like, 'singing my life with his words...' I'm not sure how the rest goes." [["Oh, Mom, I think that's—"]]

"Mmm, alright. But, $name, it had that one beat to it; you know? The song on the radio or something. It was so faint and quiet, why, I couldn't hear a thing! Figuratively, but I could barely hear you!" "What beat was it? The rhythm?" "It was... I think it was something like, 'singing my life with his words...' One-two, one, one, one, one, one. Syllables. I think that's how it goes." [["Oh, Mom, I think that's—"]]

You're interrupted by a loud SHATTER. "Oh, no! $name, could you get me the gauze from the bathroom? I think I cut my hand... I got distracted by your beautiful voice~" she laughs. Even in moments of pain, she can still laugh. You notice her left hand is bleeding a bit. [["Sure, Mom."]]

You leave quickly to go to the bathroom. You enter and check the cabinet under the sink, and look for "gauze". [[Grab it]]

You grab the gauze and bring it to your mom in the kitchen. "Oh, $name! Thank you, I'll clean up the dish in a minute." [[Give your mom the gauze]]

You give your mom the gauze and she quickly dries her hands and wraps it around her right hand. ... Weird. I could've sworn it was her left hand. [["Mom, wasn't it your left hand?"]]

Your mom looks at your eyes, deeply. She stares into them. You feel dizzy for a moment. The world is getting darker. Her eyes are getting larger and are all black. "Oh, you're right! Ha ha, thank you, $name! I didn't realize." All of a sudden, the world is back to normal. Even her eyes. [["...Yeah. No problem."]]

"What's wrong, $name?" your mother asks. "You look like you've seen a ghost, ha!" ... Except, it really does feel like you've seen a ghost, hasn't it? [['No.']] [['Yes.']]

"Good," your mom says, as if she read your mind. Or saw what you chose. Ah, sorry!! I keep forgetting. No, no, that word just came out of your mouth. "$name, you remind me a lot of your father when he was younger. Such a lovely person. So energetic, full of joy. He would play all the time outside. Go. Play outside. Get your bike, go for a ride. Get some fresh air. This is summer, after all." [["Okay, Mom."]]

No you didn't. Not at all. You didn't see a single thing. Say you didn't. Say you didn't or she'll find out. Or THEY'LL find out. Please say no. Please. [['No.']] [['I did.']]

You leave the kitchen, getting one last glance at your mother's bleeding hand. It wasn't her left hand. That's weird. [[Go to the garage]]

Oh no. No no no no no no non no no no no no. THEY'RE COMING. LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN. LEAVE. LEAVE NOW. You didn't see anything, right? :) [['No.']]

You go to the garage to get your bike. As you look around for it, you see a large object in the corner. It's dark, and you can't see it well without the light on. [[Turn on the garage lights]]

As you turn to your right to flip the light switch to "ON", you hear a faint CRACK sound. You quickly flip the switch and turn back to see what happened to the large object, but it's gone now. It's gone and you can't see it. The garage light is dim, most of the light coming in from the open garage door by the sun. You go to grab your bike that's near the corner of the garage and check to see that nothing happened to it. It seems alright. [[Bring it outside]] [[Bring it outside quickly]]

You bring it outside and try to not be too loud. Neighbors don't want to wake up and hear a kid dragging their bike across the concrete driveway so early in the morning, especially when it's the beginning of summer. Just as you're getting it out, you get a quick glance at the very corner of the garage. Where the sun doesn't shine. Where you can't see anything but a pair of glowing eyes. Red, glowing eyes. No. They're gold. Yellow, maybe. There's some red, but it isn't all of the eye. No. It looks like...blood? "$name, are you going out for a ride or not?" [["Yes, Mom."]]

You quickly bring the bike outside, trying to avoid whatever—or whoever—that thing was. "$name, please, could you be a little quieter? The neighbors are gonna wake up if you keep scraping your bike on the driveway!" [["Yes, Mom."]]

You make your way outside of the garage, not looking back. You look both ways across the street, and are about to take off. [[Go to the left]] [[Go to the right]]

You make a turn for your left, and watch as the neighborhood breezes by. WHOOSH, WHOOSH. The soft sound you hear from the cars driving by in the early morning. The air on your face, the wind, not strong enough to push or pull you back, but soft, so the summer heat doesn't melt you away. "Hey, $name! Look at them, not even wearing their helmet, it'd be a SHAME if something were to happen to you, eh?" The trouble-makers of the neighboring neighborhood have found you, on your first day of summer. They go to the academy, the one you attended this past year, the one you left yesterday. [["Ha, ha. Very funny, guys."]] [[Ignore them]]

You try to go to your right, but there seems to be construction there blocking your way. Make a note of that, $name. [[Go to the left]]

"I told you they like me! I even have a chance with them! . . . HAHA!! I'M REALLY FUNNY. No one would like you, $name! You're ugly, AND stupid!" [[Ignore them]]

You ignore the kids and keep going. It's true. You aren't wearing your helmet. If your mom found out, she'd hurt you real bad. It's a shame you're already far from home, you wouldn't want to go all the way there just to get your HELMET? You know, the one that can save your LIFE? [[Keep pedaling and don't look back]]

You keep pedaling. You keep going. You don't look back at what might be behind you. Some minutes later, you see something. It looks like a convenience store. [[Park the bike and go inside]]

Seemingly, you don't see anyone. You get your bike set and are ready to go inside. [[Go in|Go in aro route]]

As you enter the store, you see some comics, books, magazines and tabloids. You look around for something; not even sure of what. You see a cashier talking to a customer. Which is totally normal, obviously, and nothing off-putting about them. As the customer gets their bag, they walk to the door labeled 'EXIT'. The cashier seems to be reading, not paying much attention to you. [[Go down the aisles]]

As you're looking down the aisles, you see some drinks and candy. Your mother would never let you have candy without her permission. [[Don't risk it]]

You keep walking down the aisles, waiting for something interesting to pop up. Or out of the ground. You never know. You walk to the end of the aisle and see the fridge doors with cold drinks. [[Get a juice]] [[Keep walking]]

You grab a juice, and continue looking down the ailes. You don't find much else. [[Go to the cashier]]

You keep walking, but you don't see anything that appeals to you. You weren't sure what you wanted to get, anyway. [[Leave the store]]

You leave the store and think about where you could go, besides your bike there, ready to go back home. Then, you think, "I'll ride my bike until I see something interesting". And you do. [[Grab the bike]]

"Hey," you say. He looks up at you, almost annoyed, but puts his book down and puts a smile on his face. It doesn't feel entirely genuine. "A juice?" "Yes." You put it on the counter and he scans it. "That'll be 2 dollars." [[Give him 2 dollars]]

He takes the money and gives you the juice. "Have a good day," he says, as you're walking out the door. "You too," you yell, right before you're outside. [[Leave the store|Leave the store w juice]]

It's relatively quiet. You don't hear much outside. There's an empty bench near the store, just some feet from the door. [[Sit on the bench]]

You sit on the bench and drink your cold juice. It's quiet. A bit too quiet. But as you look around, there are still cars around the store, just not in the lot. [[Finish the drink and throw it out]]

You're at the garbage can and are feeling some wind against you. You don't know where to go, besides having your bike there, ready to go back home. Then, you think, "I'll ride my bike until I see something interesting". And you do. [[Grab the bike]]

"Yeah, but it's likely you won't find any in the daytime." "That's good." "Mhm! C'mon, I wanna get you something from the convenience store!" But I'm not real interested in food right now. I wanna show you this really cool thing, the store has comics! Can you believe that?" "Ha, I guess not." "So you gonna come in or not?" he laughs. You go to the door and pull it. As you do, you see something in the store that catches your eye. "Those are the comics I told you about, $name, they look good, right?" "Yeah, I wasn't sure what kind they were. I'm kind of into comics, but I spend most of my time outside, just going on rides on my bike and occasionally engaging in tomfoolery." "Tomfoolery, eh? You don't strike me as the type of person to do something like that." "I do unexpected things, human nature, you know?" "Yeah, I get it. "Yeah, sure." You leave the store and sit with Rain. "You see, this is a great series, $name. If you want to, I can lend you some of the other prints. This is the latest one, but there aren't spoilers in it from the other ones. From what I've heard from my friends." "That's cool. How much have you spent on comics?" "A shameful amount, $name. My spending habits are worse than the amount of time my brother's gotten in trouble." "Was that him? At the register in the store?" "Yeah, it was. He's a special guy. I'm sure he'll better his attitude one day." "He seemed alright before. Is that not normal?" "Not at all, $name. He's been doing better, though. But he still gets into trouble. Jumping off of school rooftops as dares, stealing from stores and breaking bones. He still does a lot of that stuff." [["And your parents don't like it?"|Female Rain route_8]]

You feel nervous and you can feel your heart beating faster. "I want to, yes." Rain laughs. "That's adorable, $name. You're so cute." As you get red in your face, you start stuttering, "I-I don't think s-so... You're n-not thinking right." [[Rain looks into your eyes and smiles|Male Rain route_11]]

"$name... Open your eyes." Hesitantly, you open your eyes, seeing that Rain's are relaxed and he's smiling. "M-my eyes are o-open now." "Yes, I can see that. I have a question for you, $name." [["What is it?"|Male Rain route_13]]

"Do I," he pauses for a moment, looking away. "Nevermind. Come on, there's somewhere near here that's pretty tall. We can fuck around over there. If you get hurt, I take full responsibility." "B-but what were you going to say?" He looks back at you, his eyes now sad. "Nothing important. Hurry, we have to get there before 2." [["Okay, I'll grab my bike."|Male Rain route_14]]

You go to grab your bike and bring it to Rain. "Oh, sweet! You have two seats on it. I've always wanted one of those." "I don't know where we're going, so do you want to guide the bike til we get there?" "Sure, $name. We're going to Gamesly, the store near the plaza. They sell video games and merchandise. Rain yells at Storm from the outside of the convenience store, "Ay, we're going somewhere. Tell mom and dad that I'll be home before curfew!", then starts pedaling. The ride to Gamesly is pretty quiet between the two of you. Aside from the cars driving by, nothing else is happening. After a bit, you hear Rain sighing, and soon stops pedaling. "What is it?" "I may—or may not—have forgotten where we have to go from here." You laugh. "Dork, you should've told me. From here, I think I've seen the plaza before. If we make a left and then go forward, you take a right and you'll be at the entrance of the plaza." "I should've. Okay, let's keep pedaling." [[Keep pedaling|Male Rain route_16]]

You get to the plaza after you make a left, go forward and then turn right. "Finally," Rain exhales, getting off the bike. "So we climb to the top of the building and take turns jumping off?" "Basically. We can sit on the roof for a while, to relax and watch as the time passes and the sky darkens." "But—" you pause. "But would it be... romantic? Ah!! Sorry!!! I just- I didn't want to get the wrong idea and-" "$name. Don't say sorry so much. If you want it to be, it can." "I... [[do want it to be.|Male Rain route_17]]"

Rain smiles. "Because you want it to be-" Rain pauses, like he did before, "do I... do I have your consent?" "For what exactly?" "To—oh god I hate myself so much right now—to kiss you. Do I have your consent to?" As you get off the bike, too, you look into Rain's eyes, you can feel your heart beating faster out of nervousness. [["Yes."|Male Rain route_18]]

From the somewhat distressed look Rain had on his face, he's now smiling. His smile is a broad and bright. He comes closer to you, and you can feel his soft breath on your neck, very faintly. End of update 3.2.1, shorter updates more consistently in the future is going to be the plan. :]
