Most buildings are covered from street to roof in either lights or screens. Windows have glass than can go transparent or turn into a screen that displays images, video, or color.
As the car makes its way through the city, you stare out the window. You watch the other wealthy people walk around, shop, laugh, and eat.
All humans behind the wall are wealthy or government officials. All the workers are robots. Some have their metal frames and wires exposed, while others look exactly like a human.
Your father always takes this time to educate you on what happened 20 years ago.

[[Approaching the north wall's exit]]In 2200, a global storm event took place, with shifting earthquakes, massive tidal waves, and powerful storms that lasted for forty hours.
After the 40th hour, civilization was no more. All cities across the world were damaged or destroyed. Only 4 major companies (all are AI, robots, and biochemistry conglomerates) survived and each of them became their own "Countries of Royalty". The wealthy walled up what was left of their local cities, while the poor had to adapt to the new wild. Due to limited resources, the remaining governments across the globe formed into a one world government, known as OWL (One World Legion). They are less powerful than any of the "major 4" and only really protect the walls and the limits between them. All life outside of the wall must fend for themselves.
Our walled city, District 3, is what is left of Manhattan. From Times Square to the waters in the east, west, and south is walled off with one hundred stories of concrete and rebar.

The car stops at the security booth. The OWL solder greets your father by his last name and ask if he would like some escorts. As always, he declines. They ask him how long he will be outside the walls for, and he tells them just a few hours. They attach a GPS device, that is equipped with 360 cameras and mics, to the top of the car.

Due to all the debris of destroyed vehicles and buildings, one can only travel on foot or horseback (natural or robot). Your father tells the car to go into hover mode.
You take in the scenery as you hover over the new wild. The outside of the city walls is patrolled and monitored by humans and robots. The walls themselves, have large 50 mm cannons separated every 50 feet at the top.
A lot of the buildings in the new wild are damaged or destroyed. There are some that stand solid and untouched. Trees and fauna shade a portion of the grey to green. Dead bodies and skeletons are sprinkled around, from the ground all the way to the roofs. You'll see movement of either animals or humans from time to time. The new wild is Mother Nature rebuilding with the rubble of man. Out here, there are no lights and screens, just debris and nature.

From above, it looks like the heart of mother nature because of all the greenery smack in the center of a city of grey. The growing fauna that extends from the park resemble arteries as they stretch out into the rubble.
You roll up to a 20-foot wooden gate with 30-foot watchtowers on both sides. Welcome to Seneca Village Outpost.
Someone in one of the towers spots you and gives a holler to someone below him. Moments later the gate begins a slow swing.
[[Enter Seneca Village Outpost]]As your father car rolls into town, people sing and cheer alongside the car. We are greeted by the outpost's spokesperson, Elizabeth. She gives you and your father a tour of the town and shows him what has improved since his last visit.
The tour ends at the school my father recently built. We set up shop and pass out food, water, and clothes.
A tap on your shoulder causes you to turn around. It's your father with the chief of the outpost, a man he introduces as Enrique. You reach your hand out to greet him and you freeze. The only thing that keeps moving are your eyes, as they grow large.
IT'S THE CHIEF FROM SurviveVR!!
Your father asks if you're okay.

[[Say something to Enrique]]You recognize his build, remember his face with the scar to match, and the look of his eyes.

Yup, no mistaking it. It's him.

[[Say something to Enrique]] You pull Tuda to the side and tell him all about your SurviveVR experience. He listens carefully and then asks you if you're sure it's him. You tell him that your 100% sure.
He tells you that he'll approach Enrique with you and to allow him to do all the talking. You agree.
Tuda explains it all, from what SurviveVR is and how you were playing it earlier. He slowly explains that you recognized him from what you thought was just a video game.
Enrique breaks his silence by advising us that the teenage girl that was taken, is his daughter. He then tells us that he dragged "your" body back here to the outpost.
[[Request to look at body]]
[[Vow to save his daughter]]You pull the chief to the side and ask him if he was involved in a gunfight. He looks at you confused and figures you noticed because of the bandage. You tell him the number of his men you killed and mention a girl being taken.
His smile turns into a sharp n. He grabs you by your neck and tells your father to come here. He tells your father that you just admitted to the murder of his men and the kidnapping of his daughter.
After much back and forth, the best deal Tuda, your father, could work out is guaranteeing your safety until his daughter is returned.
That just means your going to live a comfortable life as a prisoner because Andrew is only a friend in the video game. That does you no good in real life.
[[Spawn in]] You stand over the body and recognize the clothes you had on in the game. You tell your father that this was your character in the game.
He decides to take the body back into D3, so he can have his scientist examine it. He gets two men to help him and makes his way to the car with the body.

[[Vow to save his daughter]] You look him in his eyes and promise that you will give it your all to right this wrong. He shakes your hand.
You tell him when and where to meet you. You also show him the signal you will make with your hand, so he knows your avatar is you.
[[Meet Enrique in SurviveVR]]You meet the chief of Seneca at the agreed location. You flash the hand sign, and he nods in return.
You tell him your SurviveVR character is good as far as food, water, and gear. You just have to search for a walkie-talkie to communicate with Andrew.
He pulls one out of his bag and tells you he took it off your last "person".

"The chief, that animal looks like a killer."
You give Enrique a quick side eye.
"So, where are you now?"
"I'm ... in... Polana."
"Copy. That'll take me about ten minutes to get there."
"Cool, I’ll just search around here. See what I find."
"On my way."

[[Tell Enrique to trial you]]You walk side by side with the "savage", in hopes of showing peace can be achieved. You both trek through the woods for about 10 minutes before coming out of the tree line.
Halfway through the field blood splashes on the left side of your face. You look to your left and see Enrique's lifeless body collapsing as a shot ring off in the distance.
You begin to sprint but feel the force of a Mack truck collide with your lower jaw. You fall to the ground in a downpour of red as it goes dark.
Your dead.
[[Spawn in]] You tell him to trial you lightly.
You troop for 10 minutes through the woods before walking out the tree line. You can see the town ahead of you and walk towards it.
In town, you search for Andrew as you call him on the walkie-talkie. No answer.
BOOM!
A thunderous gunshot causes you to roll behind a car.
You hear laughter as you pick your self up. It's Andrew in the church's tower with a sniper rifle. He tells you he's on his way down.
You two meet in front of the church. He jokes about how you leaped like a frog.
You come out and ask him about the savage girl he took as a hostage. He tells you that he's still waiting for the chief to come looking for her.

[[Trick him]]You explain to him how you met the "savage" chief in real life and how this SurviveVR "game" is killing real people. You get to the part where his hostage is the chief's daughter before Andrew swings a haymaker at your head.
You duck, back up, and wip out a Colt 1911 from your waistband. You put one in the head and aim. Andrew is already running for cover.
BOOM.
Smoke and shards fly off a concrete roadblock barrier that he dives behind.
You see a car to your left and sidestep towards it as you keep your gun aimed in his direction. You see a flash of a hand over the barrier releasing something that is now coming towards you.
Grenade!

[[Run!]]You lie and tell him the game has a promotion for triple the experience points. He bites right away.
You explain that for 12 hours, you get three times the points if you return royal hostages. You even come up with a name for it, "peace of the 12 tribes".
Without hesitation he leads you to where Enrique's daughter is. When he brings her out, something takes your breath away. That something is her beauty.
Andrew brings you back to reality by telling you to close your mouth. He then you where he had to take her for his points.
It takes you some time to gather your thoughts. It's hard to think when your heart is beating so loud.
He says forget it he'll check himself.
You see the menu icon pop over his head, and you wake up from your daydream. You run to Enrique's daughter, grab her hand, and begin to run towards the trees.
Andrew comes out of the menu yelling about you lying. He sees you in the distance and raises his sniper rifle to his eye as he drops to a knee.
He takes a deep breath in. Boom.

You stop and take a deep breath.
Then, you hear a campfire burning nearby.

[[Run towards the campfire]]You shield her at the same time the bullet rips into the back of your shoulder. It has enough force to drop the both of you.
You roll over slowly and notice the bullet wound in her head. You begin to get up but a foot to your chin tells you otherwise.
With a blurred double vision, you stare up at Andrew. He has his sniper aimed at your face.
His head jerks as it portrays a ketchup packet that has been stepped on. His head hits the floor before his feet finally lift and follow.
Enrique walks up and picks up his daughter's lifeless body. Without looking at you, he thanks you and begins to walk away.
You yell and vow to him that you will find a way to end this even if it means your own life.
He doesn't bother to stop nor turn around as he says, "actions speak louder than words".

The shot rips through the back of your shoulder and sends a stream of red out the other side. You drop on the floor as you grab the wound.
You get up but receive the butt of his sniper rifle to your nose and go crashing down. He stands over you as he aims his sniper at your head.
At the same time that he grins, you hear a hard knock. His body tumbles towards you as you roll out the way.
You look over to him to see him face first in the grass, with Enrique's daughter sitting on his back holding up a large rock with a bloodstain on it. She brings it down on the back of his head. You lose count after the third time.
She still going by the time Enrique comes and stops her with a hug.
He introduces the two of you. Her name is Alani.
You and Enrique vow to end this "game" and to liberate the people of the land.

[[Spawn in]] You pick up a large rock and dash towards the man. He goes to stand up but is met with the rock. His knees buckle as he drops sideways. You give him a few more for good measure.
You put on all his gear, eat his food, drink his water, and arm yourself with a M16.
Suddenly, you hear gunshots in the not too far distance, but they're not coming from where you died.

[[Run to where you died]]You sprint towards the shots. You enter a town as you start to doubt if you went the right way. Then, you hear a scream close by.
You turn the corner and see Andrew standing on top of Enrique, who has both his hands up. Enrique's daughter watches in horror as Andrew aims his gun to at her father's face.
Without thinking you lift the M16, aim, and fire.
The burst rounds send three shots into Andrew. Starting from his shoulder, one in his neck, and the last one to the temple. He dies before hitting the ground.
You walk up to Enrique and his daughter hugging. He introduces you to his daughter, Alani.
Enrique and you vow to end this "game" and to liberate the people of the land.

Your father walks in and startles you.
His scientist completed the study of the body. It is "human" except for a microcomputer built inside the brain. The coders and technicians reversed engineered what they could salvage.
"The Characters" are organic humans. It seems when a player logs in, they take over the body of a character through the supercomputer. When the player logs off, the character is given coordinates and set on pilot mode. They're still working on getting the last coordinates given to this particular character.
Tuda did some research on his own and heard rumors of The Major Four in competition for natural resources. He believes, this may just be Tri-Tech attempt to take some. What they're taking, is still unknown. Also, what are the other companies doing?
You look at him with a smirk, "looks like we have work to do".
