It's cold outside Amy's house and you haven't heard from her in 3 days...
[[That's not like Amy, she's always talking to me. She's on social media like all the time, maybe I should knock on the door and see if she's okay...]]
[[What am I thinking? I'm such a stalker I should probably just go back home and check on her later, she's okay.]] You knock on the door but no one's answering. Amy's parents must be out late again, they're never home. Amy used to talk about them treating her poorly. Maybe Amy has her headphones in and didn't hear you knock on the door.
So you step inside because this is Amy and she's your bestfriend, and now you're worried.
[[Why was the door unlocked in the first place? Are the parents that bad to leave their house unlocked and their child inside without any fear that something could happen to her?]]
You're creeping yourself out by showing up to Amy's house unannounced, maybe she's just really busy with homwework and studying, finals are around the corner and knowing Amy she probably waited until the last minute to study...
You always had to remind her to start her projects early because she'd be video gaming instead of getting the project done.
Yeah, that's why she hasn't replied to any of your snaps, or text messages in 3 days, but she did leave you on read...and Amy never just leaves you on read.
The wind blows on the door and it creaks open...
[[Why was the door unlocked in the first place? Are the parents that bad to leave their house unlocked and their child inside without any fear that something could happen to her?]]
Something isn't right about this entire situation, so you step forward into the house, closing the door behind you.
"Amy?" you shout, but she's not replying.
There's blood on the ground and your heartbeat picks up pace. There's a knife on the ground right next to the blood splatter, but there isn't any traces of what could possible have happened.
Maybe Amy got murdered...and that's why she hasn't replied to you in days.
You step forward, and Amy's phone is on the ground a couple feet away from the blood on the floor...
[[You pull out your phone, Amy's missing, there's freaking blood on the ground, you need to call 911. If you don't call them you can be pictured as the murderer, you can't think straight.]]
[[You run upstairs to see if Amy is in her room and to find any traces to her dissapearance.]]You're phone lights up and start dialing 911 but bump into someone...
"Ahhhh!" you scream, and then turn around.
It's Amy.
"What are you doing in my house?" she says, while fixing a bandaid on her hand. Then she glances up and then to the floor where the blood is.
[["Amy, what the hell, I've been freaking worried about you. You've been ghost for 3 days, and then I come here, you're door is unlocked, and you're blood is all over the floor. I've been worried sick, I didn't know what else to do!" you say.]]While you're running you can't control your breathing. You run upstairs, your vision is blurry, on the brink of tears.
Then you bump into someone...
"Ahhh! What the ..."
It's Amy...
[["Amy, what the hell, I've been freaking worried about you. You've been ghost for 3 days, and then I come here, you're door is unlocked, and you're blood is all over the floor. I've been worried sick, I didn't know what else to do!" you say.]]Amy wipes her tears. She then says, "I've been ghosting a lot of people, my parents are getting a divorce, and school and work is stressing me out."
You ask her why there was blood on the floor.
"I know this may seem weird but I literally was just trying to cut a slice of cheese and then my phone vibrated. I guess I lost focus and sliced the palm of my hand..." Amy says.
You tell her that everything is going to be okay as you bring her into a hug. Amy starts crying, and then says, "I'm sorry I haven't been talking to you as much, I really am."
"It's okay Amy, let's clean up everything and I'll help you with your finals. Your parents are going to work everything out or maybe they won't, but just know I'll never leave you."
