Benny (Open Beta)

You have the option to pick out three swords that has different powers to progress through your journey. [[The Mage]] - A mystical sword that's filled with magic, with gracing it with beautiful flowers, and a extremely sharp blade with lots of power. [[The Warrior]] - A powerful sword that's filled with attacks galore, a black and red sword with fire coming from it, with a blade that slash within you in a heartbeat. [[The Defender]] - A beautiful, heavy blade that not only helps with attacks but with defense as well. A green and white sword with green leaves gracing the blade, helping the player with defense and power.

Benny wakes up from their dream, looking around the room. Benny gets out of bed and walks downstairs. Benny watches their mother, Diana, cooking breakfast, "Good morning mom," "Good morning, how'd you sleep?" Diana asks. "I slept fine. Say mom, can I ask you something?" Benny asks. "What is it, dear?" Benny sighs, "It's about dad mom. I think I know where he is, and I want to go find him," Diana becomes angry, but sad, "And what makes you think you can find your father?" Benny looks down sadly. [[Can I go to the Azalea Forest?]] [[Never Mind...]]

"Is it okay if I go to the Azalea Forest? I have a feeling I could find dad there," Benny asks. Diana froze. "Dear, are you sure? It's pretty dangerous in that forest? Never know what's hidden. Plus, you don't even know if your father is there or not," Diana says suspiciously. [[I'm positive]] [[Ehhh]]

"Yeah, you know what, never mind. I'm just going to head back to bed," Benny says awkwardly, "No, what is it dear? Why would you want to do this? After everything that has happened," Diana says. [[Can I go to the Azalea Forest?]]

"I'm serious, mom. I know what happened there. I've read the stories. I just have a strong feeling dad might be there," Benny says. "Well did you know about the strange occurrences that happens there? Like the hauntings and everything? I'm telling you, Benny. You need to watch your surroundings while you're in that forest. Do you understand me?" Diana says. [[I understand]] [[I'm not sure]]

"Yeah, by the way you're acting. I'm not sure if I should go. Even though I know the stories of that forest, I'm a bit unsure," Benny says. "Exactly, you need to be extra careful of where you're going Ben. It's not safe. I know you want to find your father, but it's truly not safe at all," Diana says, worried for her daughter's safety. Benny looks down, nervous about her adventure. [[Go to the forest]]

"Yes ma'am, I understand. I'll be safe mom, I promise." Benny says. "Yeah, you better be. Or I'll be six feet inside under inside your grave, wondering why you did this. Now go ahead, make sure you let me know you're safe. Okay?" Diana asks. "Yes ma'am I will. Thanks mom." "Anytime, now give me a hug," Diana says. They hug each other. "Love you mom," "Love you too dear, be safe," Diana says, letting Benny go. Benny leaves the house with her toast, excited for her upcoming adventure. [[Go to Azalea Forest]]

Benny stares at their mother in horror, curious about the hauntings. "No, I didn't know about this at all," Benny says. Diana sighs, "Well dear, if you know about the Magnum War, you should know that a lot of soldiers were killed inside that forest during the war. Most of them were the evil soldiers of King Grenchenwell. It's very haunting," Benny thinks about the story, sighing. [[Go to the forest]]

<center><img src="Assets/forest.jpg"></center> Benny arrives in the forest, hoping to find her father. She continues to look around, having the sudden feeling of wanting to give up. "I can't do this. I really can't." Benny says quietly, slowly sitting on the ground. Benny starts crying until, out of nowhere, Yvette shows up walking towards Benny. "Get up. We got this," Yvette says sternly. Benny looks up at Yvette, smiling at her. "I still have no idea how, you've been part of my life this entire time," Benny says in awe. "I'm here to protect you. It's been my duty since you came to this this world--" Yvette stops hearing strange noises, along with Benny. "What was that?" Benny asks. "I don't know, but we need to leave," Yvette says. The noise gets louder, Benny becomes curious, wanting to find the noise. [[Check the noise]] [[Leave the forest]]

"Mom, I know you're nervous about everything that happened in that forest. This entire city is filled with cursed places and strange happenings, but that doesn't mean I can't go anywhere because of that. I feel like I should do it. Plus, dad has to be at the forest and I know I'll be able to find him. Don't worry, I'll be safe. I promise." Benny says. Diana looks down, sighing, "Okay dear, you can go. But please be careful, okay. I don't want to lose you like how we lost him," Diana says giving Benny a hug. Benny hugs back, "I know mom, I promise I'll be okay," Benny lets go of their mom, taking the toast and leave the house. "Love you dear," Diana says. "Love you too!" Benny says, closing the door. [[Go to Azalea Forest]]

You have chosen The Mage. A sword that's been passed down from generations to generations from the Hawthorne family, helping them to protect the family. You used the blade and fight against the evil forces that comes afetr you as a training tool. Remember, throughout the game you will come across swords that are very similar to The Mage since you have chosen magical powers for your journey. Do you wish to continue with this sword? [[Yes]] [[No]]

You have chosen The Warrior. This blade has been used by the Archangels of Magnolia to protect the citizens, even from the Magnum War of 2000. A sword that gives you strength and power to progress through your journey. You used the blade and fight against the evil forces that comes after you as a training tool. Remember, throughout the game you will come across swords that are very similar to The Warrior since you have chosen attack powers for your journey. Do you wish to continue with this sword? [[Yep]] [[Nope]]

You have chosen the power of The Defender. The sword was used by the defenders of Magnolia, including the Archangels. The sword not only helped defend the citizens of Magnolia, but has healed those who were hurt in battle. You used the blade and fight agains the evil forces that comes after you as a training tool. Remember, throughout the game you will come across swords that are very similar to The Defender since you have chosen defensive powers for your journey. Do you wish to continue with this sword? [[Yes!]] [[No!]]

Benny wakes up in the place called The Escape. A beautiful world, where there are no worries to be shown. All your problems are left behind in this world. "Welcome to The Escape. I am Archangel Yvette, I've been with you since you were born, to help guide you throughout your life. The Escape is where you need to take some time to relax, and get yourself together. You may end up coming across some interesting secrets along the way. Let's get started, my dear," Please choose your gender for Benny. [[Male]] [[Female]]

You have chosen to be a man. You may now progress to choose your sword and powers. [[Choose your Power]]

Benny decides to check the noise. "Benny, there's no way. You could get killed, come back," Yvette says. Benny continues to walk towards the area where the sound is coming from. Benny opens the bushes suddenly, seeing nothing there. "What the hell--" "BENNY LOOK OUT!" Yvette screams. Benny looks back, seeing a rabid wolf runnning at them. Yvette slashes the wolf with her sword. Yvette looks back at Benny, while Benny stares in horror. "Holy shit--" Benny was cut off when a group of rabid wolves crowd around them. "Beloved, you know what to do," Yvette holds her sword, along with Benny. "Oh, you already know," Benny says. [[Battle!]]

"Yeah, maybe we should leave the forest. I'm not sure if this is safe. Maybe mom was right--" Benny stops, growling comes from behind. Benny looks back to see a rabid wolf. "Sweet jesus..." Benny says fearfully, "Beloved, you know what to do. I trained you for this moment," Yvette says, taking out her sword. Benny gives out a deep sigh, taking out the sword. "I'm ready," Benny says. The wolves crowds around them, hunting for blood. [[Battle!]]

Benny and Yvette fights the wolves. As they slash them one by one, one of the wolves jumps at Benny. [[Block]] [[Attack]]

You block the wolf, but it keeps growling and barking at you. Almost bitting you. You try to push the wolf away, but it wouldn't budge. [[Ask for Yvette's help]] [[Fight for your life]]

You slash the wolf and it dies but there's more wolves coming at you. You become stronger but the wolves are running quickly at you. [[Ask for Yvette's help]] [[Fight for your life]]

Benny stares at the wolves in horror. "Yvette! Help!" Benny screams. Suddenly, the wolves goes up in the air. Benny looks at the scene in awe, looking back at Yvette. Her eyes were white. She floats in the air with angel wings shown, holding every wolf trying to attack Benny. "No one messes with my baby," Yvette says, balling her fist. The wolves explode into pieces. Dust flows everywhere. Benny looks at Yvette, suprised by her strong powers. Yvette flows down to the ground, coming back to her normal self. "Ah, that's over. You should already know that I'm going to always be there for you Benny. Shall we move forward?" Yvette says. Benny nods and they continue to walk through the forest. [[The Meeting]]

Benny finally pushes the wolf away from her as their powers starts to get stronger. Benny takes their sword out, and slashes through the wolves with force. Blood splatters over Benny's face, continuing to slash through the wolves. They die one by one, until Benny finishes their massacre. Benny looks at the scene of dead wolves on the ground, wiping their face. Suddenly, clapping comes from behind them. "Well, well Ben. You did it. I'm so proud of you," Yvette says, smiling at her. The wolves turns into dust, and Benny watches the scene. "Thanks, that was pretty brutal," Benny says. "Shall we move on?" Yvette asks. Benny nods, and they both walk through the forest, looking for Benny's father. [[The Meeting]]

"Okay Benny we should be able to get out of the forest and find your father," Yvette says. Suddenly, a cool breeze comes out of nowhere. Until the wind starts to get stronger. "What the hell is happening?" Benny asks. Suddenly, the forest turns dark, a black force flows around the forest, making it colder and windier. Benny and Yvette gets closer together. A haunting laughter comes out of nowhere and suddenely, a man walks towards them. "Ah, Yvette. What a pleasant surprise," The mysterious man says. "Who the hell are you?" Benny asks. "I see you don't know at all. Well, allow me to introduce myself. I am Halzabeth. I've been looking all over for you little Benny," Benny stares at the man in horror. [[What do you want from us?]]

Benny stares at Halzabeth curiously, "What the hell you want with us?" Halzabeth laughs sinisterly, "My love, there's only so much I have to tell you, but I'm sure if you're ready to hear me say it dear," "Just say whatever the hell you have to say and leave us alone," Benny says angrily. Halzabeth gives Benny a hateful stare, "Fine, you want to know. I'll tell you." Halzabeth says, suddenly he quickly gets behind Benny, whispering in her ear, "My love, I'm sure you may have heard about your father. I know you're wondering where he is," Halzabeth finishes. Benny froze in her spot. Yvette takes her sword and points it at Halzabeth's throat. "Where the hell is he? Just tell me you son of a bitch!" Benny yells. Halzabeth laughs sinisterly, "Well my love, let's just say he's been very comfortable in my own space." Halzabeth says while winking at Benny. Benny stares at him, tears fall from her eyes. "Now my dear, would you like to come with us to find him or shall we force you to come?" Halzabeth asks. [[Surrender]] [[Fight]]

Benny looks down, sighing. Benny really wanted to look for their father, "Fine, I surrender," "Perfect, now let's go my dear." Halzabeth says. "Benny--" Yvette says. "Shhh, I know what I'm doing," Benny says. Benny walks towards Halzabeth. He opens his portal as they both enter the portal. Halzabeth enters the portal, closing from behind. As Benny enters the portal, they pass out. Not knowing what to expect. [[The Castle]]

"Screw this!" Benny pulls out the sword, willing to fight. She runs towards him, "Suit yourself," Halzabeth says, taking his sword out. "Benny, stop!" Yvette screams. Benny and Halzabeth's swords hits each other, they stare angrily at each other. "My dear, you really think you have the power to defeat me? I don't think so," Halzabeth says as he pushes Benny away. "Hal, you son of a bitch. Stop this now--" Yvette says but falls unconscious. "Yvette!" Benny yells but falls unconscious as well. Halzabeth sighs, "You should've surrendered my dear," He says as he opens the portal, dragging them inside. He closes the portal, heading to the castle. [[The Castle]]

<center><img src="Assets/kingdom.jpg"></center> Benny wakes up, looks around. Benny gets up, looking at the scene in front of them. "God, this place is beautiful," Benny says, "Not as beautiful as you think. Halzabeth turned this place into a hellhole. We need to bring it back to it's normal place, defeat him, and get your father back," Yvette tells Benny. "But what if this doesn't work?" Benny asks. Yvette gives Benny a confident smile, "It will work," "Now, where should we go first?" Benny asks. Yvette and Benny looks at the door to the corridors, entering the place. [[Enter the Corridors]]

Benny and Yvette enters the corridors, hoping to find Benny's father. "Yvette, I don't know about this. This place is creepy," Benny says. "Benny, I know this place like the back of my hand. Believe me when I say, we can try and get out of this place," Yvette says. "What are we even looking for?" Benny asks. "The Key to Peace, it's the key that'll control the violence and chaos of Magnolia, bringing peace back to the world. It's the only way we can defeat Halzabeth." Yvette says. Benny nods their head, smiling at their plan. Suddenly, a sickening growl comes from behind one of the doors. "Jesus..." Benny says with a frightened look on their face. "Benny, we've been fighting monsters this entire time. I think you're ready for this." Yvette says with a confident smile on her face. Benny smiles back until a loud bang comes from behind the door, until a group of demons come out to attack them, roaring at them "You know what to do, right Benny?" "Right, let's go!" Benny says. Rushing towards the demons. Benny and Yvette fights the demons, one by one until one of the jump after them. Benny looks back in horror. [[Attack!]] [[Block!]]

You attack the demon with your sword, killing from there. More demons come after you. As you slash and dash through them, more of the demons die by your hands. You use your powers to destroy them. They all fall down, one by one. After the attack, you look around the room and find a shiny object inside a glass container. It was the ''//Key to Peace//''. [[Take the Key to Peace]]

You manage to block the demons, and slash through them with a counter attack. The demon was caught of guard as you slash through it's body, turning it into dust. You continue to block the demons with an added counter attack until they all die, turning into dust. After the attack, you look around the room and find a shiny object inside a glass container. It was the ''//Key to Peace//''. [[Take the Key to Peace]]

You take the Key to Peace. This key is known to key to keep Magnolia in a more peaceful and stable world. After the events of the Magnum War, the angels took the key away from King Grenchenwell after his death. The key was put inside the glass container so no one would come across it. Benny and Yvette leaves the corridors. They enter the ballroom, only for the place to look darker and dirtier than usual. Black tree branches clutter the walls, thorns sharpened on the branches. Benny sees their father tied up on the wall. Benny rushes toward their father, trying to wake him up. "Dad, dad wake up! Please, wake up--" Benny says but was cut off by a sudden chill that enters the room. Benny looks around, only to see a brush of dust clouding the room. Halzabeth shows up, laughing maniacally. Yvette and Benny comes together, holding Benny's father. [[The Confrontation]]

"Well, well. What do we have here? I see you finally found your daddy. But, me being the asshole here, I'm not letting you take him away from me," Halzabeth says. Benny walks towards him, taking the sword out. "Why did you take my father away from me?" Benny asks angrily. "Well Benny, I knew about what kind of power your father held. Not only you father but your mother as well," he says. Benny gives Halzabeth a suspcious look, Benny looks at Yvette and looks back at him. "The hell are you talking about?" Benny asks. "Well, it's like this. Your parents are powerful witches, which makes you one too, my dear," Halzabeth says. Benny looks back at Yvette, "Did you know about this--" "Oh she was going to tell you, but I beat her to it. You see Benny, I knew the power your father held, so I wanted to him to help me become stronger and more powerful, so I can take over this lovely world. And get my revenge over everyone who came after me." Halzabeth finishes. "What the hell are you trying to say" Benny asks. Halzabeth laughs, "My love, I am King Grenchenwell. And I'm here to take back my goddamn kingdom," He says as he turns into a powerful demonic, monster. "Goddamnit!" Yvette says, taking out her sword. "Screw this, let bring this asshole down." Benny says, holding the sword. [[Defeat Halzabeth]]

You attack Halzabeth's demons as they continue to come after you. The attack you, one by one, and slash through them. You defeated the demons, but now you must defeat Halzabeth himself. You take your powerful sword and fight him, but he becomes stronger the more you attack him. You struggle to attack, but you knew you couldn't give up. You realize yo need some help, but you feel like you can defeat him youself. What do you decide to do? [[Yvette's Help]] [[Fight til the death]]

Halzabeth picks you, holding you tightly. You couldn't breathe, and you struggle within his grasp. You look around for Yvette , hoping she'll save you. "Yvette, please! I need help--" "She's not going to save you, my dear," Halzabeth says sinisterly, "Except, you're wrong..." Yvette says. Halzabeth looks behind him and sees a big beautiful angel in front of him. Yvette holds her golden rope and sword, giving him the deadliest stare he can ever imagine. "Don't ever touch my baby," Yvette says as she takes the rope, choking him to death. Halzabeth struggles to scream as the rope gets tighter around his neck. Yvette throws him to the ground, along with you. You get out of Halzabeth's grasp, running towards Yvette with your sword. Yvette she takes her rope and covers his entire body. He struggles to get loose until you and Yvette walks towards him. "Well well, I guess we have the last laugh now huh. Benny, would you like to do the honors?" [[Stab him]] [[Let Yvette Do It]]

You finally manage to struggle out of Halzabeth's grasp. You fight Halzabeth, slashing and using your powers to stop him. You take the sword and slash his throat. Halzabeth holds his throat, falling to the ground. You and Yvette walk towards him, watching him beg for his life. "I...only...wanted power," Halzabeth says slowly, as the blood seeps from his mouth. "Benny, would you like to do the honors?" Yvette asks. [[Stab him]] [[Let Yvette Do It]]

Benny and Yvette watches the scene in awe, looking at each other with a smile on their face. Benny looks at their father, running towards him, "Dad, are you okay?" Benny asks. David groans, "Ah damnit, I'm okay. Don't worry. I've been wanting to kill that bastard for so long, but I never could for some reason." "Why David?" Yvette asked. David sighs, "I tried to do it, but for some reason I couldn't he kept telling me he needed me for something special. He knew what kind of power I held over him," "Dad, what are you talking about?" Benny asks suspiciously. Yvette and David looks at each other, smirking. "We'll tell you when we leave from here. Come on, let's go," David says, getting up. Benny stares at Yvette and their father suspiciously, walking behind them. You walk up to the door, leaving the ballroom. [[Leave the Ballroom]]

You leave the ballroom with your father and Yvette. You arrive at the Royal Altrium, where the Key to Peace was originally located. [[Insert the Key to Peace]]

Benny looks down at the key, holding it tightly. "Benny, are you ready?" Yvette asks. "Yeah, I'm ready," Benny says, looking at the keyhole. Benny inserts the key inside the hole and suddenly the palace starts to come back to it's normal self. David runs to the window, watching the town go back to it's bright and normal place again. "Holy crap. It worked, we did it!" David says running to Benny, hugging her. Benny hugs their father back, smiling at Yvette. Yvette winks back at Benny, smiling at the scene in front of her. "Ugh, enough with the hugging! Let's get back home," David rolls his eyes, "Okay, honey," "Wait what! Honey? What the hell? Hello!" Benny says in horror, David looks at Benny with a smirk on his face, along with Yvette. "Hi, sweetheart. It's mommy," Diana says from Yvette's body. She turns into herself, smiling at her child. "Mom!" Benny says rushing towards her. "I knew you was going to get into trouble, plus you knew everything. So, I had to help out," Diana says. The family leaves the castle. [[Leave the castle]]

The family leaves from the castle, but Benny had many questions. "Mom. What the hell?" "Benny, I know you have a lot of questions. So, I'll let you know everything. For one, I am Yvette. I've been watching over you for a long time, my dear. I knew about your dreams, and everything regarding your father. I had no choice but to help," Diana says. "How did you manage to do this?" Benny asks. "My dear, we are all powerful witches. The Hawthorne family has been helping this world for years, even during the Magnum War," Diana finishes. "We've been wanting to tell you this Benny, but we couldn't find the right time to do it. Until now," David says, smiling at Benny. "Well, this was intense. I wanna go home, now. I need some rest," Benny says. "Sure thing, plus I'll make dinner for everyone. Come on, let's go," Diana says. "God, it's been a long time since I've had a hot meal with my family," David says. The family laughs at each other, heading back home to enjoy their happy reunion. The End. [[Ending]]

You decide to stab him yourself. You take your sword and stab him in the heart. Halzabeth screams in horror. The shrieks become louder, shaking the entire castle. Halzabeth's body turns into dust. You finally defeated Halzabeth. [[Save Dad!]]

You decide to let Yvette do it. Yvette takes her powerful sword and stabs him in the heart, dragging the blade all the way down his body to make sure he's dead. You and Yvette watch Halzabeth scream for his life. The castle shakes from the loud screech. He suddenly turns into dust. You finally defeated Halzabeth. [[Save Dad!]]
