Vanguard

You are a member of the Vanguard, the kingdom of Caelania's royal guardsman sworn to protect the kingdom and royal family. You get word that an Umbra Monstra has been spotted in a nearly city. You need to figure out which path will take you to the city faster: [[Go to Southtown->Go to Southtown]] [[Go to Uptown->Go to Uptown]]

You head towards Southtown and encounter a (text-colour:red)[ Titan Class Umbra Gargolye]. But there is a wounded civilian near the (text-colour:red)[Gargolye]. [[Use the rocket->Dead End 2]] [[Save the Civilian->Save the Civilian]]

You and your unit take a detour to Uptown, while avoid traffic. You then encounter an (text-colour:red)[Umbra Gargoyle]. [[Run over the monster->Dead End]] [[Fight the Monster->Fight the Monster]]

One of your teammate pulls out a RPG to kill the monster. You try to warn him about the civilian, but you're too late. The rocket kills the (text-colour:red)[Gargolye], but accidently killed the civilian. Your CO is going to have some words when you get back to HQ. [[Try Again->Start]]

You and your team engage the (text-colour:red)[Gargoyle]. It flies around, clawing and swiping at you at every given time. You dodge at every swipe but you can't dodge forever. Your only options are a gas tank and your custom plasma sword. [[Shoot the gas tank->Shoot the gas tank.]] [[Use the plasma sword->Use the plasma sword]]

You try to run the monster over with the Humvee. The (text-colour:red)[Umbra Gargolye] saw that tactic a mile again, flew up, ripping you out the driver's seat, and causing the Humvee to crash and explode, killing your teammates. You lament how stupid your choice was as the (text-colour:red)[Gargolye] rips you apart. [[Try again->Start]]

You rush to save a wounded civilian while your teammates fight the monster. You help remove the rumble off them, dress their wounds at best you can, and get them to safety. As soon as the civilian is evacuted, your teammates finally kill the Gargoyle, but then five more show them. [[Fight them head on.->Fight Head On]] [[Retreat and rethink your plans->Retreat]]

You decide to fight the (text-colour:red)[Gargolyes] head on. It goes as well as you'd except for someone outnumbered. You get jumped from all sides, and if it wasn't for your teammates coming back to help you, you'd be dead. Suddenly, the ground begins to shake as a (text-colour:red)[Gravedigger], a giant worm-like Umbra appears. You and your teammates try to figure out a plan on how to kill this thing. You wisely retreat from the Gargoyles to formualate a better plan. The only things at your disposable are your rifle and plasma sword. [[Use the Rifle->Use the Rifle]] [[Use the Sword->Use the Sword]]

You quickly devise a plan. You get the Gravediggers's attention by shooting its armorplating. It annoys it so much that it start chasing you. You hop into a Humvee and lead the worm out of the city. Your teammates take this oppertunity to blast away the worm with heavy weaponry. You all cheer at your victory and return to help any remaining civilans in the city. End

You get the worm by shooting several rockets into its exposed mouth and tossing sevelral C4s for good measure. The worm pauses from getting blown within, then fully explodes when the C4s go off. You managed to kill the worm...with major property damage. Yeah, your CO is going to have a field day with day. End.

You shoot the gas tank near the Gargoyle...and nothing happens. You ponder long enough for the Gargolye to rip your head off. [[Try Again->Start]]

You activate your plasma sword, wait for an opening, and with one fell swoop, yon cut the Gargoyle in half. Well done, solider. Good End

You try to attack the (text-colour:red)[Gravedigger] head on...but it ended up eating you whole. [[Try Again->Start]]

You start firing your rifle at the Gargoyles. You managed to pick off three before the other two gang up on you. Your teammates arrive just in time to save you, finishing off the last two. You have a huge sigh of relief; another day of the Vangaurd. End

You take out your plasma sword and managed to cut down one Gargoyle. The other four jump you and rip you apart, piece by piece. [[Try Again->Start]]
