The other (link: "adventures")[monsters] agree. With the destination decided on the whole group gets up and begins to (link: "march.")[march. Though few in number the sound of metal clanging as the (link: "adventures")[monsters] march towards their goal echos through the valley, causing all manner of creatures to scatter and hide in fear for their life. But it was too (link: "late for them.")[late for them. They welcomed you in with (link: "open arms.")[open arms. They gave you a (link: "meal.")[meal. They adored you (link: "adventures")[monsters] and this is [[how|village attack 2]] you repay them? ]]]

After the meal you ask if you can borrow a (link: "torch.")[torch. They ask you why you (link: "need a torch?")[need a torch? To make sure it's [[safe|village attack 3]] you say. ]]

But you can't tell them that.] You take the torch from them and open up the (link: "door")[creaky wooden door] leading outside their (link: "hut.")[hut made of wood with a hay roof.] As you walk around the corner of the hut you give a nod to one of the other (link: "adventures.")[monsters.] Time to get things [[started.|village attack 4]]

As the smoke begins to rise from the hut you see many other huts began to (link: "turn to flames.")[turn to flames. It's not long after that you start hearing the cries of the villagers. Roaring out in (link: "desperation and confusion.")[desperation and confusion. Then comes the sound of swords being drawn and metal clashing together. You try to [[run away into the forest|village attack 6]] so that you don't have to hear the sounds anymore. ]]

Just as you think you've found your peace you look to see a large (link: "man")[monster] covered in armour screaming at (link: "you.")[(link: "you?")[you? (link: "Why is he screaming at you?")[You see him flailing his (link: "arms about.")[arms about. You follow the direction of his arms with your (link: "eyes.")[eyes. You see two kids running towards you. The sounds start to come (link: "back.")[back. Along with the screams of the innocent and the clashing of metal you hear a (link: "man")[monster] (link: "yelling.")[yelling. [[GET THEM!| village attack 8]] ]]]]]]]

[[You reach down for your blade.|village attack 9]] (link: "You stand there in shock.")[(link: "What are you doing! The man yells.")[The children are getting (link: "closer.")[closer and (link: "closer.")[closer and closer. The boy starts to pull (link: "something")[a knife] out of his rags. ]]]]

You look down to see a small knife sticking out of your (link: "leg.")[leg. You feel the blood dripping out of your wound and running down your leg. Though already in tremendous amount of pain you start trying to (link:"get up.")[get up. You try getting straight up. You get halfway to standing when the pain shoots up your leg and all through your body and you fall back down, (link: "screaming in pain.")[screaming in pain. You hit the ground with a (text-style: "bold")[thud.] Now you can feel blood dripping out from the back of your head. At least with this the pain in your leg seem to have subsided. You feel a small sense of relief as quickly cover your now open wound with your hands to stop your blood from dripping everywhere. [[You start trying to get up.| village attack 12]]

As people began to pour into the mouth of the cave all you could see was the light of their torches being swallowed up by the darkness. After exploring for hours down through the cave with little sign of either monsters or gold you come to a (link: "crossroads.")[crossroads. Some of you will go to the [[right|Monster cave 4.1]] which continues on the same level you are currently on. And the others will go to the [[left|Monster cave 4.2]] which heads deeper down into the caves.]

After a few days of going through the cave you reach a (link: "dead end.")[dead end. It's decided that you will head back to join the other group to see if they [[found anything|Monster cave 5]] useful. ]

You head (link: "deeper")[(link:"deeper and deeper")[deeper and deeper and deeper]] into the caves. After days of searching you find little in the way of (link: "gold or monsters.")[gold or monsters. Besides the stale shit of monster that may have been here long ago. You should count yourself as lucky to not have to face any monsters. Regardless of the (link:"lack of gold.")[lack of gold. After a whole month of searching and nothing to show for it everyone is beginning to get (link: "restless.")[restless. Regretting coming on this (link: "adventure.")[adventure. It is decided that you will head to the village nearby to get some [[rest and resupply.|Monster cave 6]] ]]
