"THE NAME OF THE GAME IS SARDINES!
OF OUR GROUP WE'RE GOING TO PICK THREE PEOPLE TO HIDE AND EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO HUNT THEM DOWN!
WHEN A SEEKER FINDS A HIDER THEY HAVE TO HIDE WITH THEM UNTIL THE END OF THE GAME!
THE WINNER IS THE HIDER WHO WAS FOUND BY THE LEAST AMOUNT OF PEOPLE!"
There is silence amongst the crowd, everyone is either mumbling about an injury from a previous game or stretching their limbs.
"ANY VOLUNTEERS?"

"Daivid, Kaitlyn, James! Get up here!" the counselor announces.
The three hiders stand up and are prompty sent out into the wilderness to hide.
The 30 second countdown begins.

We all sit in silence waiting until we too will be forced into the dark.

(text-color:"white")BEGINYou leave the cabin and take in the landscape of the camp

You decided to search with your friends. As your groups discusses on where to search first. You try to voice your opinion, but are always talked over. The group decides to search the Dining Area and Cabins at the same time since they are right next to eachother.
You search behind all the buildings and trees but there's no one there. There is only one place left to check. One of your groupmates suggests someone could possibly hide under the dining hall, there's a small crawl space between the ground and the bottom of the building.
"$name, I think you should go check it out" You look up, stunned at the suggestion. You (text-color:"white")CRAWL SPACE(G)/ (text-color:"white") DELEGATE(G)

You decide to check the area around the dining hall, since it was the area the seekers start at it would be the place to least expect a hider.
You look around the buildings but find no one.
There's one last place you could look before you move on, there's a small space between the ground and the dining hall just big enough for a person to fit under.
If someone is there, by the rules of the games, you'll have to climb under with them. In the cold and dark with the wet earth being rubbed onto your skin and clothes
(text-color:"white")NO ONE

You make your way to the sports field, there are no buildings but the archery tag field has small blockades used for cover, perfect for hiding.
You walk in and out checking all hiding spots, at this point not really looking anymore. Your weary mind wanders to the stars, the camp you are at is in a forest in Pennsylvannia so the stars are vivid and beautiful.
(text-color:"white")WAKE UP
(text-color:"white")CAUGHTYour group makes it to the archery tag field and splits up to look behind all the covers. There's no one around. Instead of moving on you all take a moment to chat a bit. It turns out you are not alone in your exhaustion, everyone is beat from the day's experiences.
Your respite is interrupted by the counselor, with his apparent limitless energy, "C'MON GUYS IT'S NO FUN IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE LAZY AND NOT ENGAGE"
Not wanting to be around for an argument and seeing your more confrontational groupmates starting to get annoyed you remind everyone, you still have one last are to search

As you try to make a running start towards the field you collapse from exhaustion, the counselor is called over and you are taken back to the dining hall to wait for the end of the game.
You are happy to give your aching body a rest; however, your counselor looks so disappointed, he suspects you wanted to get out of the game
(text-color:"white")TITLE(set: $tired to it + 1)
(if:$tired > 4)[(goto:"GAME OVER(2)")]
You decide to commit to the game, leaving no stone unturned in your hunt for a hider.
You approach the back of the building, you see more and more spider-webs. You kneel in the apparently muddy dirt. With one last deep breath you quickly through your head under the building, no chance of backing out.
There's no one there.
(text-color:"white")SPORTS FIELD(A)

After a long walk you are on the farthest side of camp you were allowed to go for the game. There was not a lot of places to hide but it was the area for the most ground to cover.
After walking around aimlessly, you start to give up, where could anyone possible hide here, there's only an admin building we were told not to go near and a bathroom.
(text-color:"white")NOTHING
(text-color:"white")FOUND(set: $tired to it + 1)
(if:$tired > 4)[(goto:"GAME OVER(2)")]
You shake your head back and forth, you would get in trouble if you were caught dozing off. No matter how tired you are you must keep moving. The sooner you find someone the sooner the game will end and you could go to bed.
You find the strength to (text-color:"white")KEEP GOING(set: $tired to it - 1)
Your body is so weak and your mind is so weary, begging for sleep.
You take this moment to let your mind recooperate.
$name!!!!
Your peaceful moment is cut short by the counselor.
"Come on $name! No slacking off"
You were chased off by the counselor, time to move on.
(text-color:"white")KEEP GOINGAs you expected there's nothing in the admin building.
It's time to move on
(text-color:"white")MOVE ONA camp's bathroom.
The very last place you would want to look and yet as you find yourself peering behind the wall you see three figures all bunched together.
You found someone, you actually found someone. You scamper over to the group and crouch in the darkness with them. You are with David, an original hider, and two other seekers. You text the counselor of your find and wait out the rest of the game. During you wait multiple people come to the bathrooms, some walk past oblivious and some come join you little party.
After another five minutes pass everyone is alerted they must go back to the dining hall for the results of the game. Turns out David was the weakest hider, but at least you found someone. (text-color:"white") WRAP UP(if:$tired > 4)[(goto:"GIVE UP")]
There are still more places to search

Once your group is out of the counselor's ear shot, one of your companions lets out the groan they were holding in "There's no place to hide over hear!"
"Maybe, but at least we look like we're searching" Another friend chimes in.
"There are only two places left to look" You remind the group, "the (text-color:"white")FOUND(G) and the (text-color:"white")GIVE UP(G).We head to the bathroom in a last ditch effort, not expecting to finding anything.
Of course the universe loves to proves us wrong, because there's a quite a group huddle in a corner, we found David. The three of us huddle down in the corner, there are so many people hiding here that this group is either in last place or will have a lot more seekers join them.
The game finally ends and we are allowed to go back to the dining area. Our prediction was right, the most people found David therefore we were on the last place team, but hey at least we found someone and one could go to bed.
"ALL RIGHT EVERYONE ONE MORE ROUND THEN A CAMPFIRE!"
dang it
(text-color:"white")TITLE After walking all around the administration building, the group unfortunately has to conclude that there's no one there.
"Can we double back and check the places we missed" One of the optimistic members asks, before we could even try we are alerted to head back to the dining hall for the results of the game.
Even with three heads working together, we still couldn't find anyone. The group heads back for the embarrassing results, coming in last place because we couldn't find a single hider
(text-color:"white")TITLE Everyone heads back to the dining hall, you collapse into the seat. If your muscles ached when you started then they are gelatinous at this point.
Your counselor announces Kaitlyn the winner since the least amount of people found her, followed by James, followed by David, and lastly all the searches that didn't find anyone.
Finally you can get cleaned up and go to a well deserved sleep
"ALL RIGHT EVERYONE! WHO IS READY FOR ANOTHER ROUND?"
oh no
(text-color:"white")TITLE(set: $tired to it + 1)
After walking over to the dining hall, you look back at your group one last time.
The thought of all the cob webs and spiders and bugs you know are under the building makes your skin crawl, but not as much as the thought as being crammed under the building with the hider and your entire group if there is someone there.
You take one last deep breath and (text-color:"white")CRAWL SPACE II(G)You point the finger at another team member, turns out no one seems to be excited to check under the bug infested crawl space. After a bit of a disagreement the executive decision is made to move on to the next area, out of convience you suggest the next closest area.
(text-color:"white")GAME OVER(1)
(text-color:"white") ATHLETIC(G)There's no one there, you say a silent prayer praising the Lord before rushing back to the group because you see a giant spider crawling towards you
The group decides to head to the next closest area, the athletic field.
(text-color:"white")GAME OVER(1)
(text-color:"white") ATHLETIC(G)You have searched all three designated areas of camp and have found no one. Your aching body and exhausted mind are in agreement that it is time to rest; however, the memory of the counselor wandering around, //motivating// people to get moving. The last thing you want is to get yelled at.
You start to move.
Your movement is more of a wander, you no longer have the mental bandwidth to even think of new places to look.
The rest of the time in the game winds down and you are called back to the dining hall where your counselor announces the results of the game. The locations of Kaitlyn and James were no where close to what you where you were searching; however, you were upset that you didn't David, you walked right by him!
The final results were:
1. Kaitlyn with only 3 people finding her.
2. James followed closely with 5
3. David with a whopping 8 people finding him
4. Anyone who didn't find any hiders
Getting last place stung a little.
At least you can finally collapse into your bed for the night.
"ALRIGHT EVERYONE WHO IS READY FOR ROUND 2!"
oh no
(text-color:"white")TITLEYou are completely exhausted.
Neither your body or mind has anymore stammina.

The blazing sun is finally setting.
Your aching arms finally relax after a day of intense activity.
You sit amongst friends finishing dinner.
All is well when the group leader pops out of the kitchen shouting,
"ALL RIGHT EVERYONE ARE YOU READY FOR THE NEXT ACTIVITY"
Everyone looks around confused, they've been running around all day and were only mentally prepared for a campfire then bed
