Hello! I'm Eros, the author.
I'm here to welcome you to...
@@color:orange;The Flying Rabbit@@!
This twine is a bit different than most of the twines I've written. It's a romance based story, just as a warning (yuck, I know, kissing.)
On the next screen you will be able to choose your name and the gender of your love interest.
Sit back, relax, and have fun!

First, we gotta know who //you// are.

$Name! That's you!<<set $skinstate to "true">>The room is plain, smooth red wood making up most of the furniture. The ceiling has bright stars painted, making constellations that aren't anywhere near your city. The walls are a darker navy blue, delicately painted by a loving hand with a mural, two rabbits, circling a cherry blossom. //Huh.// An odd decoration, but surely not unwelcomed.
The curtains flutter with a soft breeze.
[[Look out the window.|page3]]You push aside the curtain, and pause. This isn't like anything you know. The town below you spreads out onto to rolling hills like a blanket. Fields of corn stretch on for miles ahead, curving rooks with precarious towers attached and chimneys.
Whimsical clouds float carelessly alongside...
houses?
[[Next|page4]]The window panes are a glittering iridescent coated with condesation from you being so close. A sparkling... something whizzes past your window, and you whip your head around to follow it. It's a miniature robot, looking something like a hummingbird. Down below, you hear laughs and yells as you look down to see children chasing the thing through the alleyway.
Another sound makes you whip your head around.
There's a $person in the doorway, halfway peeking in.
[[Next|page5]]@@color:aquamarine;"Oh! Um, you're awake."@@
The $person opens the door wider.
They're wearing a pale blue shirt, buttoned up at the collar, dark green hair tied up halfway.

[[Next|page7]]@@color:aquamarine;"Do you not remember?"@@
$His brow was furrowed, gentle grey eyes staring out the window, then back to you.
$He pauses, taking a deep breath. $He's not sure what to say.
@@color:aquamarine;"I saw you just laying there, and, um, you weren't moving, so, I... I took you home? You were in the road. And there was, uh, a horse?"@@

That's $his bed.
Whoops.

$He also staggers back, startled.

You both had ended up on some sort of port, bustling with life and loud yelling in some language you don't understand.
@@color:aquamarine "C'mon, we don't have much time."@@
$He pulls you along, through the crowds of yelling people that smelled of mold and fish, that could have been recognisable if you focused a bit longer.
There was too much to focus on at once, shops and music and people and //so many things all at once// that you were afraid that your head was going to go spinning off your neck.
[[Next|page20]]$He had finally come to a stop, and you had to dig your heels into the ground to stop yourself from running into $him.
You both were stopped directly in front of a rickety, (amd proabably illegal) ship. But as you leaned over a bit too look down at the water, you relized, with a gasp,
there wasn't any.
The ship was suspended in the air, along with the rest of the port. Sitting atop a sea of clouds instead of water, through the few holes in the thick fluffy clouds, you could see the ground below, dotted with the houses, and what appeared to be the fields you saw from $rosname's room window.
There was a fading, chipped away painting on the sides of the ship, and seemed a bit like the rabbits you had seen in the mural on the wall earlier.
In swooping, elegant letters, obviously more cared for than the rest of it, was the words;
"The Flying Rabbit."
