Y/N: Mhmm… Crap! I’m running late! *you leaped out of bed and yank off your uniform before rushing off to work*
[[Off to work!]]Skyler: *working at a table, she smirks* Well well. You’re finally on time for once.
Y/N: It isn’t that much of a shock. *huffs*
[[next]] Skyler: *she zips around, tending the tables before noticing you. She did a small groan and scoffed* Look who finally decided to show up.
Y/N: *smirked* Hey I’m here aren’t I?
Skyler: Why do I even bother covering for you?
Y/N: Because I’m so cute.

Skyler: Well since you’re here, ya know what to do.
Y/N: Yeah, yeah. *time to get to work… Thankfully the lunch rush isn’t here yet*
Skyler: *carrying a tray, but freezes in her tracks when the door opens*
Y/N: ??? Sky ya ok- *you glances at the door to see a strange man at the door*
*He was a tall thin guy. Clearly not human. Even though he is fairly covered, his head was completely exposed. Skin as black as night and hair was more that of smoke.*
??: *sits at your table and stares at you with his vacant white eyes*
[[Nope nope. Skyler please?]]
[[Uhhhhh.... weird vibe but ok...]]Sykler: Ha, nope.

Y/N: Ummm.... Hi.
??: *he gives a jolly wave* ^^

[[*to the table*]] ??: ^^ *he nods and points to the muffin on the menu*
Y/n: Muffin huh? Mkay.

??: *he gave me a few blinks as if he was dumbfounded by the question*

??: *he points right at me and then to himself*
[[Uhhhh?]]
[[You think… you’re me?]]*You come back to the table with a warm muffin in hand*
Y/N: Here ya go!
*he took the muffin and places money on the table before leaving. The shadow person gave you a smile with his eyes. A strange one he is... You feel like you might see him again real soon*

[[new day]] ??: *blink blink*
Y/N: Ok… So ummm… Human?
??: *nods* ^^
[[He seems harmless. I should talk to him more.]]
[[I should ask him what he wants. I'm still at work.]]
??: *he shakes his head and points at me again*
Y/N: *Why is he pointing at me? He clearly ain’t human…. Whatever…* Ok…So what cha want?
??: *points points to a muffin on the menu*
[[muffin time]] Y/N: Sooo.... Ya new to town?
???: *nods yes* ^^ *he plays with his gloved hand, pulling at the fingertips letting out a few crackles*
Y/N: Uh-huh....
[[Take a seat]]
[[I should ask him what he wants. I'm still at work.]]
Y/N: So what can I get ya sir?
??: *he seems interested in the muffin*
Y/N: Anything else?
??: *shakes his head*
[[muffin time]] *You sat down in front of him at the table. Even at this angle, his face was still a black void. He continues to stare at you with those glowing white eyes.*
Y/N: You got a name?
??: *again all he could do is nods*
Y/N: You know any sign language?
??: *the shadow man tilts his head in confusion*
Y/N: *dang....* Ok ok lets see....
*there were crayons in your pocket for the children to use to draw*
Y/N: Here you go. This should help.
??: *he perked up and grabs the blue crayon*
Y/N: Heh....

Queft: "I is Queft" ^^
Y/N: Queft huh. Nice to meet you?

Y/N: Queft?
Queft: ^^ *claps his hands*
Y/N: *Aww... he's kinda sweet.... for a black shadow thing*

[[No. I started out as a gremlin and took the form of a human to blend in.]]

[[To be honest. I have no clue. Our body changes with age so does that make you the same person, or a whole new person? Like I think differently now than I did three years ago. So is past me gone, or am I the same person???]]Y/N: Queft?... What is this bad place?
Queft: *he sat there shaking in his seat. Crayon gripped even tighter* "Dark. very dark. No go back. No" *before he could finish writing, the blue crayon snapped in half. The sound of TV static echoed from him as he held his head. The smooth white circles of his eyes soon mimic the static effect*

[[*RUN*]]Y/N: Oh shoot... I'm sorry... Maybe it's too much too quickly. Hey how about I'll get you something. How about that?
Queft: *nods*
Y/N: What ya like? *you smiled sweetly*
Queft: *wrote muffin*
[[muffin time]] Y/N: Queft! Queft! Breath!
Queft: *he continues to hold his head in a panic. His face started to rip with the sound of fabric to follow as he forms a mouth* N-No go ba-back!!.... I-I good boy. I-I is good. No bad..
*A few people now began to glance over at the cry of Queft*
Y/N: Hey. Hey... You're not going back. *you reaches over to hold one of his hands in hope of calming him down* I promise ya gonna be fine... Ok?
Queft: *he squeezed your hand and looks at you with weeping eyes* P-promise?
Y/N: *you winced from the squeeze. He's much stronger than he looks* Y-Yeah.... You said that you're a good person right? Then you have nothing to worry about.... Heh... *your eyes drifted to the side as you think... You didn't expect becoming a therapist today*
Queft: *his audible breathes began to soften as he calms down*

[[*Go ask for help*]]*Nope nope! You are not getting paid enough for this. You quickly left the cafe in hopes of never seeing the creature ever again.... Who knows... only time will tell.*

Queft: *his mouth fuses back together*
Y/N: See. *you smiled warmly as you let go* That-a-go. *you think for a moment* Hey do you want to hang out later?
Queft: *with a blink of surprise, he nods like an eagered child*
Y/N: Sweet! Meet ya back here same time Sunday? I have no work then.
Queft: *grabs the broken crayon and wrote a big YES*
Y/N: See ya then. *you pat his head. His hair was like touching cold fire and his skull had the texture of rough fabric.... It was weird, but yet you don't mind*
Queft: *he reaches over and gave you a head pat in return*
*This seems to be a start of a new friendship*

[[new day]] Y/N: Now Queft. I want you to continue breathing. I know someone who's better with stuff like this than me. Ok?
Queft: *doesn't want you to go and holds onto you*
Y/N: I promise that everything is going to be ok, but you have to let me go.
Queft: .... O-Oki... *he loosen his grip on you and places his hand on his lap*
*You gave him a reinsuring smile before heading off. You told Sklyer the situation. She nods and walked to Queft. The two talked for a while. When the dust settled, Queft risen from his seat and walked to the door. His face fused back together, closing his mouth. He turns back one more time to look at Y/N. With a small wave he left the cafe*

[[new day]] Queft: *nods and ponders before writing* ....... "Me is no human"
Y/N: *totally knew that already* Le gasp! I had no clue.
Queft: "I is Shadowling. I want be human."
Y/N: Ohhh...

Y/N: Queft?.... Buddy you're fee- *your body went stiff* Q-Queft?
*the blackness faded from his body revealing it to be a fabric mannequin*
Y/N: *You try to scream out his name but not a peep came out. Everything went black....*

Y/N: Later m'kay? I still got work.
Queft: "Ok" ^^
Y/N: *leaves to get back to work*
Skyler: So you got his order?
Y/N: ............. Oop

[[new day]] *You wakes up looking at the ceiling. Confused, you try to move your body to no avail. Looking around, you noticed that you were still in the cafe and heard a voice.*
Skyler: Hey Y/N! I need you to work table three ok?
*You try to reply but fall silent, however your own voice can be heard behind another voice.*
??: Ok! On it!
Y/N: Wait. That's not me! I didn't say that! *You see your own body moving and work. You follows behind, but not by your own feel will. As the light shines on your body, your height grows getting a better look. Everything was flat.* What's going on?
*Your body turns to look at you. The eyes were blacked out with the white circles*
Queft: You're awake. ^^Thank you! I can finally live the dream of being a human. I will take good care of your body. I promise.
Y/N: What!? No! Queft this isn- *others voices silenced you as you fall deeper into the shadows*
*Queft went on through out the day. Working and laughing with your co-workers. He got his wish.... And you got yours...*
