It is a plague so deadly that any contact with it will lead to certain death in all recorded cases. Furthermore, it has the capacity to travel using light waves, meaning it can even spread through space." "And you want us to deal with this? Seriously?" Another one of them says, bewildered. "Correct. According to my scanner, I have discovered that the unique DNA structure of you humans makes you naturally immune to the virus. You are our only hope." If we can activate the explosive in their base, it will destroy the entire facility with the strength of a supernova." "And how do we plan on doing that, exactly?" $playerthreename nervously says. "It will be faster for me to demonstrate." the computer responds. Suddenly, a tray on the side of the ship opens up revealing several hexagonal devices. "Each of you affix one of these to your chest and press down on the center of the device." The group goes along with the instructions and as they press the button on the device, they each witness each other completely vanish from sight. [[Continue|The plan]]"As you can see. These devices will make you virtually undedectable provided you don't directly bump into anyone or they hear you moving." To be able to counter the (text-colour:yellow)[Neo-Plague] it was made to have similar properties and is capable of using light to distribute itself. Originally, our plan was launch it into the sun, then the energy of the sun would absorb it and it's energy would amplify it's effectiveness. This second device here will be used to arm the bomb, forcing a detonation after a timed sequence." "According to my calculations, the plan with the highest probability of success involves you three making your way through the base undected and attaching these two devices to the bomb which will start a countdown. You then must escape the facility before the time expires. "I will need to drop you off at that hanger over there. It's one of the only entrances in the spaceship and is the one closest to their lab. I will meet you back here in one hour." the computer explains. "Alright, take us in" $playeronename says, activating his cloaking device. $playertwoname and $playerthreename follow suit. As the ship approaches the hanger, invisible, the three teenagers all jump out at once and land inside. It's time. [[Continue|Inflitration]] The group begins their infiltration, moving through the base, and exit the hanger silently avoiding guards. It's going well at first until they encounter their first roadblock. A locked door. After observing it for some time, they can see patrols of guards occasionally making their through the door. It seems some kind of key card is needed to progress further. $playertwoname whispers to the other two, barely audible to just them, "So, I figure we have to choices. Either A: we can search around for one of those key cards that they're using, or B: we try and sneak through behind a group of guards while the doors are still open. That latter one seems simpler, but also riskier. What should we do?" [[Search for key card]] [[Sneak behind guards]]The group decides that it would be best to look for a key card themselves. This way, there is less risk to being discovered, so they figured the safer option was better. As the group looks around they notice four potential rooms that they could check. They notice that in nearly each of these rooms is a guard, so they will have to be cautious when checking and it's probably better to try and search the fewest rooms possible.
