2D Monster Maze for the Apollo Guidance Computer (1966-75)
Written in AGC assembly by Nick Sherman of Arlasoft in 2023. V1.0.
To start the game, click any key on the control panel.
A timer will countdown from 5 while the maze is generated.
Controls: 2, 4, 6, 8 to move
You (1) are in a procedurally generated maze. The aim is to escape as quickly as possible, as your score will increase by the time that remains when you go through the exit.
The walls are denoted by (0) for inner walls and (8) for the outer boundary.
Collect the key (9) and then use it to open the exit portal (7). When you have the key the 'Gimbal Lock' light will turn off.
Watch out for the dino, Rex (4). He starts in the bottom left corner and seeks you out.
When he is close to finding you the 'opp err' light will flash. Be careful! His speed will increase slightly after each maze is completed.
