I have a sense of hearing the birds chirping, and the sound of wind gently blowing through the window. I tiredly opened my eyes, and I noticed the ceiling was different from what I used to see, they’re all made of rustic hay. Something was not right, so I off the bed and I thought something was missing. Where is my phone?

I have walked far away from home, I saw the landscape, plains of vibrance green fields and the sun is bright, but the wind cooling. Well, I guess I just followed in my footsteps and hopefully I found some other buildings which filled with people.
As I keep following the track for a few hours, I get fatigued because I always rely on car transportation. Maybe I should take a break for half an hour until I’m recovered.
Man, I’m thirsty, and I hear a river flowing, I should look.
I take a sip of water from the river, and I suddenly hear the growl. I looked back and encountered the wild animal, looking like a pig with dark brown fur.
What should I do about it?

Alright, I think I have enough of looking around, what should I do next?

So, I tried to kick at the wild pig, however, the pig knocked me over with their head and I was slammed onto the tree. Ouch! It hurt a lot, and I looked down at my body then I noticed something was not right.
Suddenly I saw the red liquid coming out of my body, totally my blood because of what the wild pig had done to me. I’ve tried to run away from that pig while holding my blood, I don’t think I can be able to take more steps.

I decided to run back to the home as the wild pig started to charge at me. I realise I’m lost in the middle of the forest. As soon as I kept running, I was swept over by a twig but the pig angrily still chasing me as they trying to kill me.
Somehow, an arrow shot past through behind my head and instantly downed the pig.

Two hours later…
This is boring and I am hungry. The problem is, I have no idea how to hunt or gather the food here, I guess I will find out myself.
Someone opens door and I saw the person dressed in black robes with the white cross symbol on their chest while wearing a hood. Something is not right; I feel like I’m in danger. Maybe I should?

I honestly think is depressing to hear that. I don’t know what to say about this. Averia sweet-heartedly smiled at me and said, “It is okay my dear, the past cannot be healed but the sins can be acknowledged for the future to be changed. I’m about to finish my praying, let us head home together, shall we?”

I argue back, “Because they’re too precious to be eaten.”
“So what? You need to realise a wolf has devoured one of my men before. Step aside, let me handle this,” Markus ended the poor rabbit’s life.
“What’s Markus doing with the strange person who never ate meat before?”, Markus’ men stared at me discriminately because I didn’t want to kill a rabbit.
Markus was friendly giving me a speech, “There’s lots of learning to do mate, [[let’s move on.->End of Chapter 2]]” I stabbed at the rabbit, and they screamed in agony. I have no idea what to do with that, but Markus quickly stabbed the rabbit’s heart and then finally died.
He disappointingly said to me “You just stand there and watch the rabbit suffer, that’s what a devil’s name would like to do.”
Now I feel bad about what I have done poorly to end the rabbit’s life as quickly as possible.

Villagers helplessly defended themselves but brutally axed their arm off. Women and children who have tried to escape have been shot by the arrows as $pillage_d1 shouted, “Don’t let anymore escape, otherwise reinforcement going to kill us!” How could $pillage_d1 have done such a cruel thing to slaughter many villagers’ lives?
“Markus, what are you going to do with leftover villagers here?” As Markus’ men captured villagers in tied.
“Any resource we have gathered? Markus has asked his men.
“Markus, I can’t find any gold so far, but we found all the food they have. I don’t think is enough for us.” As Markus’ men replied.
“All right, men kill them all,” Markus commanded his men.

I ran towards Markus, and I think I really stabbed a man.
However, it did not bleed at all… and he grabbed my weapon. “You did not stab hard enough against my armour or aim at my weak spot,” Markus said calmly.
He pulled back at my weapon, and he cut through my non-dominant forearm.
I started to painfully scream, “AAAHH!” I started to drop a weapon when my arm was bleeding.
Markus looked disappointed when he stared at me and then looked at the surviving villagers,
“Lads! Now you can [[kill them all!->Villagers' life ended]]”
Villagers started to scream in agonising death as the men stabbed them. The male villager responded to this, “Oh goddess, please spare us mercy, we did nothing wrong. I beg of you!”
Markus sorrily responds to this, “Forgive me, your greed of living ends now for us.” The villager said, “If that is so, please take our children.”
Markus said, “No, I can’t afford to do this and rather is selfish to live without a loved one. Children should live death together with you. I appreciate your offering, tell me your name before you die.”
The villager said, “My name is Oliver, and the children are named Jamie and Olivia. Before you kill me, let me say the last word.”
Markus responds, “Fine, hear out your last words. “O goddess Theresa, I confess my sins that I never sacrificed enough to give food to those who needed it the most. Please take us to heaven with my community…”
However, (click: "However,")[Markus’ men rudely interrupt his last word and tragically kill them. Markus said, “Sigh, damn your impatience idiots… Oliver, I have your last words in my ears. I write that down and leave it here.”
The entire village demise by Markus’ hand… Somehow one of Markus’ men [[found something unexpected…->Averia is captured]]
]“I won’t let you kill her,” as I ran to grab a weapon.
“Are you insane to protect this demon girl?” said Markus pointing at me with his sword,
I yelled, “I don’t care if she’s a demoness, I protect everyone no matter what!”
“So be it, fight me then if that is your choice after all,” Markus acknowledged what I have said.
I started to rush at him and hopefully, I stabbed him as what he has done to all innocents’ lives.
However, Markus quickly clashed against my weapon and sliced my dominant hand off.
“Gaah! My hand!” as I started to scream. Markus thrust his sword through my stomach and the sword was pulled off. I lay down because I was no longer able to withstand this amount of pain.
Somehow, he untied her, “At least you tried to protect her, so here’s the reward. I bet she going to devour you anyways. If I see you again, this time I will properly end your life,” said Markus giving me a last word and they march away with stolen loots.

Markus’ comrade cheers for what they have done but Markus just looks rather guilty as what he has done. He said to me alone,
“Hey, if I leave villagers alive without the food, they will all starve to death, so I tried my best to end their suffering. Remember, I’m not doing it for myself, and I promised to feed my comrade well.”
I’m still speechless after all of this. Markus approached me and said, “What’s your next step?”

Ugh, I feel like... my vision is getting blurry and I cannot stand this pain anymore. I guess this is what death is like.
“Please do not die, hold my hands,” I started to hold her hand while she tried to attach my lost hand to my flesh.
$averia started to pray. “O mother of goddess from the above, I begged to please give this saviour a second chance to live. They saved my life, and I should be ashamed that I cannot save my loved ones in this village. Please forgive me and I begged for mercy to give this saviour a second chance. Goddess and sister may bless you, amen.”
I started to reply, “This is not your fault because I always owe you for helping my life in the first place.”
After I’ve been holding the pain…

After a few hours when the sun starts to rise, the scorch of the village is vandalised by the horrific pillagers.

The first time the girl introduces her, “My name is Averia, a pleasure to meet you. I’m the one I saw you on the bed. So, you are alive and then I saved you again…”

Averia looked at the corpse of villagers’ remains, “We should bury them and pray them to have another life in heaven.” The corpse gets rotten as the smell is getting worse than before, I can’t stand it out. Should I, do it?
I replied, “Yes, we bury them and pray together.” That is the moment where Averia’s village becomes a graveyard. “O mother goddess! We ask you to bless all helpless villagers who have lost their lives. Forgive their sins and give them another life in heaven. Villagers in the grave may rest in peace. [[Amen...->Knowing Averia]]”
When the sky gets dark, I smell something smoky, so I quickly walk out of the church. I saw the homes of the village were burning in flames. The villagers are panicking and screaming for their lives, and I have no idea why the building caught int fire. Is it the bushfire or did someone set them on fire? I must investigate what is going on out there, but Averia is still praying.
I say, “Averia something is not right here what’s happening?”
She replied “Holy mother of goddess! I must have to see what’s going on out there?”

The time when the sun dusk when the sky becomes orange. I sat down on the chair outside and watched the kids happily playing around with Averia as we became a parent of adopted children.
They all happily stared at me and started to smile. Hmph, I relaxingly close my eyes and enjoy the chill wind of the weather.

The comrades cheered and celebrated their unlawful victory in the first place over killing villagers who could not fight back.
I noticed Markus sat next to me after my ungraceful reaction to the victors. “Get used to it nobody can live forever. My young comrades lost their loved ones when they were just a kid, including myself. Humans are selfish and I hate every single one of them, including myself…”

As the time gets dark, Markus finally finds what he is been looking for. It was a village with a church so he started commanding his bowmen to release the fire arrows from their bows then the arrows ignited houses.
I hear people from the distance start to scream then Markus and his men start to advance towards the village.

When the sun reached above me. Markus and his comrade marched foward until I reached the beach. The beach is empty and there are no buildings next to it compared to the modern world. “Oi Markus! I find the ship you’re after,” shouted one of Markus’ scouts.
Markus shouted back to us, “Lads, get ready to present the gold we have looted from the church! It’s time to claim our rewards!” The quest givers look imitating that they all looked tall and carry long axes and shields.
“Markus, show me what you have looted, and we provide food,” said the quest giver, “What, that’s all you got, and no enslaved women for us?”

“Oh Rufur, so you have decided to be turned on us? You must get greedy that you want some laid, aren’t you?” said Markus mocking Rufur's betrayal decision.
“This is not my choice, I’m just following the king’s order,” Rufur responded with his reason.
Markus’ comrade is feared and says “Sir, I don’t think we can face these strong men.” Markus responded to this, “Well men! This is a life-and-death situation. If you want to live, then fight by my side!”
Thus, both sides clash and brutally kill each other. However, Markus used the bottom of the sword handle against my back head and [[I went unconscious...->Markus fights Protagonist]]An hour later, I heard metal clinging and clanging, the wood cracks and splinters, the blood gushing and people screaming in agony and fear while I was unconscious.
