I check in with the stocks (up) and my prototype's web server (down). I pull up the latest Bloomberg news reports on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and read the headlines. A story about the entertainment sector catches my eye; there's money to be made here.

I pour myself a black coffee and sit down at my Oak Hairpin desk. It's only 5:15am. The sun hasn't even risen. It fears me.

The germ of a project begins to infect my mind.
