  "description": "The game is designed to help children learn or practise (BrE) / practice (AmE) Christmas vocabulary in English.\n\nClassroom practice:\n\nThe class can be divided into 2 teams. The teams take turns trying to match the pictures with the words. Each team can have 1 team captain or the team captain can be a different student each turn. The team captains should consult the other group members before selecting pairs. Both teams have to match all pairs in under 36 attempts. The team with the most points wins.\n\nThe words and pictures are reshuffled so the children can repeat the game as many times as they want.\n\nIndependent practice:\n\nThe game is ideal for children to practise (BrE) / practice (AmE) Christmas vocabulary because they can work on their own and at their own pace.\n\nThe game is divided in three levels.\n\nLevel 1:\n\nThe children have 36 attempts to match all pictures and words. If they can't do it in under 36 attempts, the game ends.\n\nLevel 2:\n\nThe children have 28 attempts to match all pictures and words. If they can't do it in under 28 attempts, the game ends.\n\nLevel 3:\n\nThe children have 22 attempts to match all pictures and words. If they can't do it in under 22 attempts, the game ends.\n\nThe words and pictures are reshuffled so the children can repeat the same category as many times as they want.\n\nPairs:\n\n* Santa Claus\n* Reindeer\n* Sleigh/Sled\n* Tree\n* Star\n* Present\n* Angel\n* Snowman\n* Bells\n* Wreath",
