About Raymond James Stadium
Raymond James Stadium is a multi-purpose football stadium located in Tampa, Florida. It is home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL) and the University of South Florida (USF) Bulls college football team. The stadium seats 65,618 and is famous for hosting the annual Outback Bowl.
The stadium's most iconic feature is the 103-foot pirate ship replica located in the north end zone, known as "Buccaneer Cove." The ship fires formatted cannons for every point the Buccaneers score and when they enter the red zone. This unique prop creates one of the most distinct home-field identities in the league.
Raymond James Stadium was the first venue in history where a team played in and won a Super Bowl in their home stadium (Super Bowl LV with the Buccaneers). Recent renovations have added massive HD video boards. The "Ray Jay" combines pirate-themed entertainment with modern amenities in the Florida sunshine.
