Orbit Launcher by Cosmic Adventurez · Last updated 10 October 2026

Orbit Launcher is a small game that runs in your web browser. We built it to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.

What the game stores

To remember your progress, the game saves a few things in your browser's local storage, on your own device:

your best score and game statistics (planets landed on, stars collected and so on)
which achievements you've reached and which orbiters you've collected
the orbiter you picked and whether the sound is muted

This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for the game.

When you play on our website, the browser may also keep a copy of the game files so it loads faster and works offline.

What we don't do

No accounts or sign-in, and we don't ask for your name, email or other personal details.
No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
We don't sell or share any data, because we don't collect any.

Playing on Discord

When you play Orbit Launcher as a Discord Activity, the game uses Discord's Embedded App SDK only to start the Activity. It does not ask for access to your Discord account and does not receive your username, messages or friends list. Discord adds technical IDs (such as the Activity, channel and server IDs) to the game's address; the game doesn't store or send them anywhere. Your use of Discord is covered by Discord's Privacy Policy.

Hosting

The game is served by our hosting providers: Cloudflare for our website and the Discord Activity, and itch.io for the itch.io page. Like any website, they may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the game and keep it secure, under their own privacy policies. We only see overall statistics, such as how many requests the site received. If you choose to support us, donations and purchases are handled by itch.io or Buy Me a Coffee under their own terms and privacy policies; we never see your card details.

Age

Orbit Launcher's content is suitable for everyone, but the game isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. As a Discord Activity it is only available to people who meet Discord's minimum age.

Changes

If the game ever starts collecting anything new, we'll update this page and the date above before it does.

Contact and reporting problems

To report a bug, a problem with the game or anything else, or to ask a question, email us at cosmic.adventurez@gmail.com. We read every message and act on reports. You can also reach us through our itch.io page, mrqvist.itch.io.
